Goan Fish Curry

  • 300-400 grams of clean fish
  • 4 Kashmiri chilies
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds
  • 1 pinch of jeera/cumin
  • Tamarind one inch size
  • One medium size onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder half teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil to cook
  1. Make a paste of: Kashmiri chilies, garlic, coriander seeds, jeera and tamarind.
  2. In a pan, add oil and saute onions. Next, add the paste to the onion.
  3. Once it starts to boil, add fish and cook for some time. To the same add salt and turmeric powder as per taste.
  4. Serve hot with cooked rice.
