Fish Roll

Ingredients
  • Boiled smashed fish 200 gm. (without bone)
  • Boiled smashed potato 1 medium
  • Onion finely chopped 1 big
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli finely chopped 2
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1.5 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • All purpose flour 4 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Cheese slice 3
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil
Method
  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add onion. Cook until golden in colour.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chillies. Cook for 1 minute in low medium heat.
  3. Then add boiled smashed fish and boiled mashed potatoes. Cook on low flame for 5 to 6 minute.
  4. Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and add garam masala powder. Cook for another 5 to 6 minute.
  5. Lastly add lemon juice and turn off the heat. Let the mixture come to room temperature.
  6. Then roll the mixture and place a cheese strips in the middle of this roll.
  7. Now lightly coat the rolls with all purpose flour first.
  8. Beat the egg with salt and black papper powder.take lightly coated roll dip into this mixture and roll in the breadcrumbs.
  9. Keep the roll in fridge for 15 to 30 minute.
  10. Heat the oil and deep fry this roll on medium flame.
  11. Fry them till this turn to golden brown.Fish roll is ready to serve.
